How can I be more excited to share this wonderfully written novel by Susan Wilson? A truthfully entertaining and heartwarming novel that every person will fall in love with this amazing novel. A story of a lovely dog that will touch your heart and brings you to an amazing story that you will surely love. Susan novels are amazingly inspired and cater to different life settings and world related to dogs. This fiction book is perfectly written with thorough love with our dogs and how things fall into the exciting wheel of life. In this book, I believe there is a certain reason why every dog needs A Man of His Own. I read through this book and it brings me to an interesting growth of characters and twist. A dog will bring the characters together and how can the dog bring eternal peace and happiness to the characters.
The story runs when World War II began and the life of Rick Stanton have changed, together with his young wife, Francesca and their dog Pax. After the war, Rick came back with a broken body that the Stanton decided to volunteer Pax for the Army’s K-9 Corp. Keller Nicholson was the soldier who stayed by side of Pax during the service. Keller treats Pax as his own and can’t bear to return back to the Stanton until they made an arrangement that will work both sides. Keller will work as a live-in aide to Rick but this process will lead to Keller and Francesca growing attraction. In this situation maybe only Pax can lead them in healing and guide them home.
I enjoyed reading this book from cover to cover and it’s really entertaining that makes me hear a new story of life. Maybe some part of the world may have been the same life story. I just loved how dogs can be really being part of man’s life. We don’t treat them just ordinary animals but we consider them like humans that have a mind and heart. And they usually give us strength and happiness whenever our lives are at wheels. It’s just amazing how these dogs they could do to us.
I am definitely recommending this book to all dog lovers or non-lovers and to everybody who loves to just chill and to those readers that are fantastic book lovers. It will greatly inspire you and give you a different perspective on life in a certain way. You’ll get hooked from the very first and last page of this book and surely you’ll brain will talk about it a lot. It’s very fulfilling and makes you want more after reading this book. I feel reading a book is a part of me. It feels so good and relaxing.
