I’m so excited to share with you guys, my first ever homemade chicken drumstick curry! I’ve been trying so many recipes that I never cook back home. Well, upon thorough research, brainstorming, and learning now I can finally do cooking stuff on my own. I’m really happy to those blogs and sites that consistently post perfect recipes that I’m looking for. The Internet is really everything nowadays.
Actually, the story behind of my chicken drumsticks curry recipe is that the chicken is the only available on our fridge that I can cook and it’s been days have passed since we last eat a chicken. I checked our vegetable area then I still have bell peppers so in order not to get it bad I used it and thought of making chicken drumsticks curry.
A lot of the chicken curry recipes are already over the net but this time I loved to share with you guys how I make chicken drumsticks in a curry recipe. I hope you will find this recipe easy to follow and enjoy cooking like what I experience.

1 medium onion, minced
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 cups chicken broth
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 large baking potato, cubed
2 large carrot, cubed
4 pieces dried bay leaves (optional)
½ teaspoon sugar (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions
Heat oil in a pot.
Sauté the onion and garlic.
Add the chicken drumsticks. Sauté until the chicken gets light brown.
Pour the chicken broth and add the tomato paste. Stir and let boil.
Add the dried bay leaves and sugar. Cover the pot and adjust the heat to low. Cook for 35 minutes. (Note: Add water or chicken broth if it starts to dry-up.)
Add the potato and carrot. Stir. Cover and continue to cook on medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
